Dr Edwin Clerckx has been Managing Director of ADE since October 2013.

Edwin joined ADE in 2001. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy, a Master’s Degree in Management and a complementary degree in Economics. He headed ADE’s Evaluation Department from 2006 till 2013 and has been a member of its Board since 2007.

He is a specialist in leading complex strategy evaluations of donor support in the field of development cooperation. This has included various themes such as conflict prevention, peace building and private sector development, but also the channeling of aid through international organizations. He has also worked extensively on Structural Funds and rural development evaluations.

He regularly adds value to his experience through making presentations at international conferences, and has also participated in the drawing-up of evaluation guides.

Prior to joining ADE, he worked for several years for the Association of European Performers' Organisations, where he was managing Phare programmes on Intellectual Property.

Edwin is fluent in French, Dutch and English and also speaks Italian.

Vincent Coppens has joined ADE in 2006 and is heading its Evaluation Department since October 2013. He holds a Master’s degree in Management Engineering from the Solvay Business School (Université Libre de Bruxelles), with a major in Finance. He has extensive experience in complex and strategy-level evaluations. He is primarily active in the field of development cooperation, covering different themes and sectors. He has specific evaluation experience for private sector development and development finance, including investment facilities and blending mechanisms. He has a track record as team leader, project director, methodological advisor, and quality controller. Before joining ADE, he worked four years for A.T. Kearney, a renowned international strategy and management consultancy. Vincent is fluent in French, Dutch, English, and Spanish.

Virginie Morillon is macroeconomist and a consultant in Evaluation at ADE since 2006. She has over 10 years’ experience in conducting complex policy evaluations and advanced knowledge in evaluation methods and techniques. She specializes in three major areas: macroeconomics applied to development and public finance management reforms; conflict resolution, security and fragility; and private sector development and development finance. She works for a wide range of clients, from the European Commission, European Investment Bank, African Development Bank, World Bank; bilateral donors including AFD, CTB, Danida, Sida, the French and Netherlands Ministries of Foreign Affairs; to national governments.

Virginie co-led or participated to more than 20 policy evaluations spanning various areas, aid modalities or countries/regions. She co-led the Joint evaluations of budget support operations in Morocco and in Burundi. She also delivered training courses on public financial management and on the 2012 EU Guidelines to Budget Support. She was actively involved in the African Peace Facility evaluation and in the Thematic evaluation of the Commission’s support to conflict prevention and peace building. She had a key role in the Evaluation of blending of EU grants with loans and currently participates to the End-term review of the investment facility and European Investment Bank operations in ACP countries and to the Evaluation of the FMO Infrastructure Development Fund. She is very familiar with EU policies, instruments and aid modalities, in particular budget support, and has in-depth experience in applying the OECD-DAC methodological approach for evaluating budget support operations.

Prior to joining ADE she worked for one year in Benin for the French Ministry for Foreign Affairs where she was seconded to a Beninese consultancy specialized in regional integration. She holds a B.A in Economics and a Masters Degree in Development Economics.

Her field experience covers mainly West and East Africa, Latin American countries and the Caribbean, the Mediterranean area, Asia and the Pacific islands.

Francesca joined ADE in June 2019.

She holds a MA in Philosophy from the University of Pisa and MA in East European Studies from the University of Bologna, Forli.

Before joining ADE, she worked in sub-grants management, communications and advocacy in the NGO sector in Ukraine and in Brussels, where she also completed a traineeship at the European Commission’s DG ECHO.

Francesca has an interest in electoral processes. She was election observer in the Netherlands, Albania and Moldova.

Within ADE she will be in charge of the management of contracts for the Evaluation Department.

Francesca is fluent in Italian, English and French.

Floris Dalemans joined ADE in August 2019.

He holds a PhD in Bioscience Engineering – with a specialization in Agricultural Economics – and an MSc in Tropical Natural Resources Management, from KU Leuven.

He has developed sustainability evaluation tools for various sectors (energy & climate, agriculture and forestry). During his PhD he worked on an interdisciplinary basis across research groups to evaluate the economic and ecological potential of bioenergy innovations in India. Prior to that he worked on sustainability scans for the Belgian agricultural sector, as well as on decision-support software for European forest management under climate change.

As a quantitative analyst he has extensive experience with project design and implementation, and with applied econometric, statistical and experimental modelling.

He works as an expert at both the Evaluation and Impact Departments.

He is a native Dutch speaker, fluent in English and with good command of French.

Following a five-month internship in 2020, Titouan joined ADE as a Junior Expert Evaluator in February 2021.

He holds a master’s degree in Development Economics from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, which included a semester at Cairo University in Egypt. He also completed a bachelor’s degree in economic history.

Before joining ADE, he worked as an intern for Flanders Investment and Trade (FIT) at the Cairo office. As trade attaché assistant, he provided sectoral analysis of countries linked with the office (Egypt, Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, and Eritrea).

At ADE, Titouan uses his strong theoretical, analytical, and statistical backgrounds to perform strategic evaluations on a wide range of topics. His areas of special interest are employment, informality, climate change and rural development.

He is fluent in French, English and Italian, with a working knowledge of Spanish.

Françoise joined ADE in September 2019.

She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Namur, having completed her graduate programme at UCLouvain. During her studies, she developed both empirical and theoretical projects focused on the labour market. She has considerable expertise with both micro-level (firm) and macro-level (country) panel datasets. She also has experience in designing and implementing research projects.

Before joining ADE, she worked as a teaching assistant at UCLouvain, responsible for microeconomics and research method courses. She was a research fellow at the FNRS (Belgian National Research Fund) for four years. In addition, she spent ten years as an active member of an NGO working in food security and youth empowerment. She also volunteered on several field missions in West Africa (Benin, Burkina Faso and Senegal).

She is a native French speaker, fluent in English, with a good command of Dutch and a basic knowledge of Spanish.

Nohemí joined ADE’s permanent staff as an Evaluation Expert in October 2017.

Nohemí holds a PhD in Public Policy from the School of Government and Public Transformation at Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico). She obtained a Master’s in Public Administration from the École Nationale d’Administration (France); a Master’s in Public Management as well as a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, both from Tecnológico de Monterrey. She also obtained a diploma on French and European Management at the Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg, France.

Before joining ADE, Nohemi was the first Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Supervisor at the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico where she previously served as Drug Demand Reduction specialist. Nohemi played a critical role in taking INL Mexico from the inception of an idea of how to measure the impact of bilateral security capacity-building programs, to the design of replicable and sustainable M&E systems.

Nohemí previously worked for Guanajuato’s State Government in Mexico as General Director of Scholar Services and Accreditation of Studies. She also served as aide to the Governor and as principal advisor to the State Security Council.

In ADE, Nohemí participates on evaluation studies in the field of development cooperation, covering various areas, aid modalities or countries/regions. She specializes in drug policy, judicial reform, rule of law and public administration reform.

Adrien Lorenceau joined the strategic evaluation department of ADE in May 2019.

He holds a PhD in Economics from the Paris School of Economics.

During his academic training Adrien specialized in the evaluation of development and educational policies based on sound statistical methods.

Prior to joining ADE, Adrien worked at the OECD Development Center where he acquired a solid experience in conducting country evaluations on skills development and youth well-being in several countries (e.g. Côte d’Ivoire, Jordan, Malawi, Togo). Thereafter, he joined the OECD Directorate for Education and Skills to work on the role of ICT in education in the PISA team. He has excellent analytical skills, a strong knowledge of quantitative methods and first-hand experience in data collection.

He is fluent in English and French.

Maria Tataki joined ADE in July 2020.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Sciences Po Paris, France, with a major in Economics and a minor in Middle Eastern and Mediterranean studies. As part of her undergraduate studies, she spent a year at University College London, UK, as an affiliate student to the BSc in Economics programme. She is currently completing her master’s degree in European Affairs (Economics and Public Policy stream) at Sciences Po Paris.

Before joining ADE, Maria gained experience in impact evaluation while working for the French Red Cross. As a Strategy and Policy Intern at the International Telecommunication Union, the UN specialized agency for ICTs, she researched both ICT policy trends for the achievement of the UN Strategic Development Goals, and gender parity. As an intern for two private firms in London and Athens, she worked on data visualisation and statistical analysis of large datasets. Since April 2020, Maria has been on the board of a German NGO focusing on digital democracy and inclusion.

At ADE, she contributes to strategic evaluations within the Evaluation Department.

She is fluent in Greek, English and French, with a working knowledge of Arabic (MS), Spanish and German.

Tatianna Goetghebuer is a permanent expert in evaluation at ADE.

She holds a PhD in in Development Economics from the University of Namur and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Engineering. She is skilled in various evaluation techniques, qualitative as well as advanced quantitative approaches. She has excellent analytical skills and strong fieldwork experience. She managed and conducted various first hand and second hand data collections in the field of agriculture and land resource allocation, migration, access to water, education and vocational training. She has very good organizational and management skills.

Before joining ADE, Tatianna was Assistant Professor at Namur University, teaching econometrics and microeconomics. As an academic, she focused her research on institutional economics. She also worked with the Micro Insurance Facility based in the International Labour Office in Geneva and used to coordinate the European Development Network (EUDN).

Tatianna has been involved as a member of the board of a Belgium civil society association for 5 years.

She is fluent in English, French and Spanish and understands Dutch.

After a successful four-month internship at ADE in 2018 and continued collaboration during 2019, Bruna joined ADE as a Junior Impact Evaluation Expert in September 2019.

She holds a joint master’s degree in Economics from the University of Namur and UCLouvain, Belgium, where she specialised in development and public economics.

At ADE, Bruna contributes to several strategic and impact evaluations using her solid knowledge of economic theory and background in empirical analysis. She has strong skills in data analysis, survey design and implementation, as well as visualization and reporting techniques, project management and organisational expertise. Her areas of interests include environment and climate change, forestry, agricultural value chains and food security.

Bruna is a native Portuguese speaker. She is fluent in English and French and has a working knowledge of Spanish.

Romain joined ADE in September 2019.

He holds an MSc in Economic Development and Growth from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain, and an MSc in Economics and Strategy in Emerging Markets from Maastricht University, Netherlands.

Prior to joining ADE, he worked as a research assistant at the United Nations University-MERIT, where he contributed to a range of research projects related to development in Africa on topics such as migration, remittances, mobile money, natural resources and governance. He additionally completed internships as a data analyst for consulting firms in Spain and the United States.

At ADE, Romain is a junior expert in the Impact Department. He works mainly on impact evaluations and strategic evaluations related to digitalisation in developing countries. He is passionate about data science, with a particular interest in exploring how new methods and data can be used to evaluate the impact of policies and programmes.

He is fluent in French and English, with a good command of Spanish.

Nastassia joined ADE in June 2018.

She holds a PhD in Economics from ECARES (ULB, Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management).

Prior to her PhD in Economics, she worked in consultancy, NGO and private sectors. Her academic research then focused on the economics of corruption using experimental and empirical evidence in Burundi, Germany, India and Belgium. She is as comfortable with quantitative data analysis as with designing and implementing projects in the field. She is currently working on two mixed-methods impact evaluation projects in Morocco and Rwanda.

Within ADE she she joined the Evaluation and Monitoring department as an expert in the Impact Analysis Unit.

Nastassia is fluent in French, English and Italian. She can also speak Dutch.

After a five-month internship in 2019, Luisa joined ADE as a Junior Impact Evaluation Expert in July 2020.

She holds a master’s degree in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE), France, where she specialised in public policy and development in addition to working as a tutor in macroeconomics.

Before joining ADE, she completed an internship at the Centre for Industrial Economics at the Ecole des Mines de Paris. As a research assistant, she studied consumer behaviour on a well-known French SVOD platform using statistical and econometric analysis of large datasets.

At ADE, Luisa uses her solid knowledge of economic theory and her strong background in empirical analysis to contribute to impact evaluations in a range of sectors. Her work combines literature reviews, survey implementation, data analysis, visualization techniques and reporting. Her areas of interests cover health, education, environment and climate change, as well as agricultural value chains and food security.

Luisa is fluent in French and English, with a good command of German and a working knowledge of Spanish and Dutch.

Tanguy de Biolley is a co-founder of ADE in 1990 and a member of its board of directors. Expert in macroeconomics, public finance and trade he participated, most often as team leader, to numerous assignments in developing and transition countries.

Through these missions conducted for the European Commission, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, UNDP or national governments, he has developed a worldwide expertise in
- structural adjustment, policy advice, trade policy and strategic studies,
- the programming and evaluation of large assistance programmes, and
- institutional building and professional support for ministries of finance, planning institutions and central banks.

Before joining ADE he worked as an economic adviser in the Belgian Planning Bureau, the Belgian Government's main macroeconomic think tank. He was in charge of macroeconomic and economic policy studies and the development of econometric models. Throughout all his professional career, he has a kept part-time research and teaching positions in various Belgian universities. He is currently "Maître de Conférences" (Visiting Professor) at the Facultés Universitaires Notre-Dame de la Paix in Namur, Belgium.

During his education he benefitted from a research scholarship from the National Foundation for Scientific Research and spent a year as research student at King’s College, Cambridge (UK). He holds a master degree in economic and social sciences from the FUNDP in Namur, and a Ph.D. in economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

He works in French, his mother language, and English.

Mary van Overbeke is an economist, specialized in macroeconomic policy and in industrial policy. She joined ADE in 1992 after having spent five years at the University of Louvain, in the economic department where she was in charge of macroeconomic forecasts. From 1997 to 2003, she was member of the Belgian Planning Office. She has developed her skills in two fields: (1) macroeconomic analysis and public finance management and (2) industrial policies focusing on innovation and regional/sectoral development strategies. As a macroeconomist, she has been involved in four main areas: public finance and more specifically Public Expenditure Review, food security, monitoring of macroeconomic policy in west-African countries, and more recently, training of EU officials in budgetary aid support (PCM project). Her other centre of interest is growth and competitiveness policies. While she was at the Belgian planning office, she has been in charge of completing the Cardiff annual report presenting to the EU the main reforms adopted to improve the functioning of labor, goods and capital markets in Belgium. Innovation and research policies are at the top of the agenda in European competitiveness policies. She coordinated with several experts the Promethea Regional Innovation Strategy initiative in Wallonia and carried out analysis of regional innovation systems and policies at different levels. Monika BECK, agricultural engineer (MSc), specialized in economics, has extensive experience, since 1991, in the evaluation of public policies and programmes in the EU and in ACP countries.

Monika joined ADE in May 2007 and has been Head of the Rural development and Environment department since 2009. Her career combines professional positions in the private sector and academia both in the EU and in developing countries. Within ADE, she has led numerous evaluations of rural development policy, in particular but not only, on the second pillar of the CAP, at European (DG AGRI) and national levels [France, Belgium (Walloon Region), Luxemburg] since 2000. She combines sound working experience with the CMEF with know-how and hands-on experience in the use of quantitative methods (FADN data treatment) notably in evaluation of investment support to agricultural holdings through RDP in France and in the Walloon Region. She has extensive experience as Team Leader of complex evaluations for DG AGRI (EU27) (Farm Advisory Services (2009), Information and promotion actions for agricultural products (2011), (2007).

Prior to joining ADE, she worked for seven years in the Department of Economics and Rural Development of the University of Gembloux (Ulg Gembloux AgroBioTech). Linked to RDP evaluations performed during this period, she completed a complementary Master’s degree in agronomy and biological engineering analyzing the impact indicators used in the RDP 2000-2006 for investment support to agricultural holdings. Monika was a trainer from 1999-2005 for EC officials (Brussels and in Delegations) in EcoFin analysis and Project Cycle Management.

Between 1991 and 2000 she worked as agro-economist for a consulting company, where she took part in about fifteen mainly EDF funded evaluations of rural development projects mainly located in Central and West Africa. She started as trainee at the EC (DG development) working on budget programmes (1990-91).

Joanna joined ADE in September 2019.

She holds an MSc in Agronomy (Bioengineering) with a specialization in rural economics and sociology from Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech, University of Liège, Belgium. She has also completed a complementary degree in Management from UNamur.

During her studies, Joanna gained wide-ranging experience as an intern in Niger, Sierra Leone and Belgium, where she conducted economic and sociological field studies in waste management, large-scale agriculture and fruit eco-labelling respectively. As a student, she volunteered at the Student’s Association of Gembloux, including one year as a Board Member, and worked at ADE as an assistant to experts and project managers.

At ADE, she works as a junior expert in the Rural Development and Environment Department.

Joanna is a native French speaker, is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.

Konstantin Gruev joined ADE as a permanent consultant in September 2012.

He works in the Rural development & Environment Department and works on the evaluation of environmental, urban and regional development policies.

Konstantin worked on the ex post evaluation of European territorial cooperation programmes (ETC) for DG Regio, as well as on the migration of the DEVCO Evaluation guidelines. Konstantin has a specific experience in strategic environmental assessment (SEA Directive) and in thematic evaluations (Research, development and innovation, Environment, Urban and territorial development) both at regional and international level.

Konstantin holds a Master’s degree in Evaluation and Monitoring of public policies from Science Po Lyon and another Masters in Political Science from University Lumière Lyon II. He also has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and Sociology from the University of Perpignan, France.

He is a native Bulgarian speaker, bilingual in French and fluent in English.

Patrick Van Bunnen is an economist specialised in evaluation, regional development and structural funds. Before joining ADE in 1998, Patrick was research fellow at RIDER (Recherches Interdisciplinaires en Développement Régional) and IRES (Institut de Recherche Economique et Social), two research centres at Louvain University. Patrick has taken part in about twenty five projects for the EC and regional governments in the field of regional and rural development. These include: (i) the evaluation of mainstream programmes such as OBJECTIVE 1, 2, 3&4 and 5b or RDP; (ii) the evaluation of Community Initiatives such as EQUAL, LEADER, INTERREG and RIS; and (iii) thematic evaluations such as the evaluation of research and innovation actions in 86 EU regions, the agricultural reform programmes in PHARE countries, and the oleaginous policy under CAP. He has also carried out various studies including the transfer of experience in the management of Structural Funds from Wallonia to Poland and the selection process of 25 countries, partners to direct Belgian bilateral co-operation. Patrick is currently responsible for the implementation of the ISO 9001 Quality System in ADE.

Jean-Marie Wathelet is a co-founder of ADE, Agricultural Engineer and MBA.

He started his professional career as an assistant in the Rural Economy Department of Louvain University where he worked on operational research programmes. Attracted to the business world, he became an IT consultant in an SME support firm for a few years.

In 1988 he joined a consultancy firm specialized in the rural sector and discovered the development realities of Africa.

Since 1990, Jean-Marie has undertaken more than 30 consulting and evaluation missions as Team Leader for various international donors, notably the European Commission and the World Bank. He has developed expertise in three major fields: rural development strategy; project evaluation; and public expenditure review. He has acquired an in-depth knowledge of the project cycle management tools (PCM) and of the utilisation of the methods of evaluation based on the Logical Framework and participatory approach.

As Team Leader, he has carried out numerous strategic and complex evaluations for the European Commission, including the thematic evaluation of the European Commission’s support to rural development and agriculture. He also ensures the role of quality controller on evaluations undertaken by other ADE permanent experts.

Jean-Marie was Managing Director of ADE from 2007 to 2013.

Jordan joined ADE in August 2019 as a Financial Manager.

He holds a Bachelor degree in Economics and Management and a Masters degree in Management Science & Business Analysis from the University of Namur. Thanks to an inter-university mobility, he also studied Development and Management: North-South perspectives, at ICHEC Brussels Management School.

Jordan spent more than 2 years in Junior-Enterprise (JEN Consult) and became Vice-president & Treasurer of this organization in 2017.He completed a 4-month internship at the Walloon Export and Foreign Investment Agency (AWEX) in the “International financing” department where he was in charge of assisting Walloon companies in obtaining projects or contracts financed by bilateral and multilateral development banks.

Within ADE he is in charge of Analytical management, accounting, treasury, budgeting, invoicing.

He is fluent in French (mother tongue) and English; and he can speak Dutch.

Myriam joined ADE in February 2020.

Myriam holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the Haute Ecole A. Jacquard Namur in Belgium.

Myriam previously worked as an accountant at a Belgian bank for a period of eight years, and at a construction company for 12 years.

At ADE, she is in charge of general and analytic accounting.

Myriam’s mother tongue is French. She is also fluent in Greek.

Laurence joined ADE in August 2020

She studied marketing in Brussels. Her thesis focused on the use of social media to create an e-reputation for PME.

Prior to joining ADE, she worked as the Benelux HR Manager for a German e-scooter company based in Brussels. Before choosing a career in human resources, she worked as a Marketing & Event Manager (B2B and B2C) in the European Quarter in Brussels, Belgium.

Her responsibilities include payroll & HRSS tool management, recruitment and onboarding, talent management, retention programmes, updates to policies and How To documents, and general administration.

Her mother tongue is French. She is fluent in English, with basic knowledge of Dutch and German.

Dominique joined ADE in 1997 to strengthen its marketing thrust, bringing along her varied experience in programme administration and evaluation. She has developed numerous business opportunities in various areas and is Director of various large programmes and projects. She is currently also heading the FWC SIEA 2018 department in ADE and manages a team of project managers. She is a Director on ADE’s Board since 2006.

Agronomist and agricultural engineer, she started her career with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), a United Nations agency specialised in rural poverty and development where she worked for about 15 years, first in the Monitoring and Evaluation Division and then in the Project Management Department (Africa). She collaborated with many international institutions, particularly the World Bank, the African Development Bank (AfDB) and other UN agencies.

Her main areas of expertise are rural development, smallholder agriculture and economics, gender issues, and monitoring and evaluation systems. She has supervised numerous programme preparation and evaluation exercises.

Alexandra joined ADE in September 2017.

A historian by training from UC Louvain University, Alexandra holds also two Masters degrees, one in Communications & Development from the Institut des Hautes Ecoles des Communications Sociales and the other in Human Rights Democratization from the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratization.

Previously she worked in communications and project management roles in Africa and Europe with several development actors, including DG DEVCO, the United Nations, ENABEL and several NGOs. More particularly, she worked for 3 years as Public Information Officer for the United Nations Mission for the Stabilisation of the Democratic Republic of Congo and for 1 year as Communications Officer with ENABEL in Senegal where she gained her first field experience. During her career, Alexandra has worked on the following topics: food security and right to food, volunteerism and civic participation, gender, human rights, peacekeeping, microfinance, poverty reduction and rural development, bilateral cooperation and capacity building.

Alexandra joined ADE as Junior Knowledge Sharing Expert for the Methodological Knowledge Sharing programme of DG DEVCO where she was responsible for providing support to EC staff for the delivery of methodological assignments and the implementation of learning events and knowledge-sharing activities.

Since August 2019 she has been working as Project Manager for the Framework Contract Department where she is responsible for the day-to-day management of several FWK projects, which includes backstopping, logistics, contractual and administrative arrangements, financial follow-up and interaction with clients and project partners. She also assists the acquisition team in the offer preparation.

Alexandra is a native speaker in French, has a C1 level in English and C2 in Spanish. She speaks some Dutch (B1) and is a beginner in Russian (A2).

Alice joined ADE in January 2021.

She holds a first degree in International Relations and a master’s degree in Political Science of Latin American Countries.

Before joining ADE, she lived in the Czech Republic for five years, where she gained experience in complex event organisation within diplomatic institutions, as well as in an international tourism company.

Alice is fluent in Italian, French, Spanish and English, with a good command of Portuguese.

Fabio has joined ADE in December 2020. He holds a master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Trieste.

Fabio has over 4 years of professional experience in European Union funded projects, linked to DG NEAR cooperation for development and multi-country capacity development projects and DG DEVCO Framework Contracts.

As a Framework Contract Manager in ADE, Fabio is responsible for the preparation of bids and tenders. His tasks include research and selection of specialized consultants, coordination of mission planning; supporting the drafting of project methodologies, budget estimations and start-up of the project proposals retained for implementation.

Fabio is fluent in Italian and English. He has a working level of French and can speak Spanish.

Karin Durviaux joined ADE’s team in July 2009 to take over the responsibility for the secretariat.

She is in charge of the organization and coordination of the secretariat’s operations and procedures. This includes supervision of the secretarial production team; responsibility for the ISO secretariat and providing assistance to the Board of Directors. Karin reports to the Managing Director.

Before joining ADE, Karin worked as a sales representative for Synthetis, a software editor for agro-food and fast moving consumer goods industries. She also worked for Sabena Airlines as a Stewardess for several years.

Karin speaks fluent French, English and Dutch and has a good knowledge of Spanish.

Nathalie Gille joined ADE in January 2018.

Before joining ADE she worked in different fields of activity such as: administrative assistant for several companies, mostly as personal assistant for the president of an aviation company working mainly on lobbying issues; horse-riding teacher in Tangier (Morocco); and also as manager of a Panoramic view restaurant in Morocco where she was taking care of day-to-day management.

Within ADE Nathalie is assisting the Market Development Manager in her daily work. Her main tasks are to prepare Expressions of Interest as well as tender dossiers. She is also responsible for updating ADE’s different databases.

Nathalie is fluent in French and English. She can also speak Moroccan Arabic.
