Launch of the Joint Country Evaluation of development cooperation of Denmark, Sweden and the EU with Bangladesh
2014.11.30
This joint evaluation of DANIDA, SIDA and EU cooperation with Bangladesh will draw key lessons from the cooperation of these three donors over the period 2007-2014. It aims in particular at providing forward-looking recommendations in the context of the EU+ joint programming process and donor responses to Bangladesh’s 7th Five Year Plan 2015-2019.
The evaluation will also look to break new ground by embedding the 3-steps OECD/DAC methodology approach for Budget Support Evaluations within the overall country assessment. It will focus hereby on donor support to the primary education sector.
Other sectors that will be covered in this evaluation are human rights and democratic governance, private sector development in rural areas, climate change and disaster management, and gender equality.
