Support measures for Fiji

The overall objective (Impact) to which this action contributes is to enhance the EU-Fiji partnership so progress can be made towards EU and Fiji strategic policy goals. The specific objectives (Outcomes) of this contract are as follows: 1. To reinforce the efficiency, performance and impact of EU cooperation with Fiji 2. To facilitate policy dialogue 3. To provide on-request advisory services or support to the Government of Fiji The expected results of this contract are as follows: 1. Improved coordination and communication between key stakeholders involved in the implementation of the “Time to Act! Implementing the Climate Change Act” programme 2. Timely submission of well documented and structured budget support disbursement requests by the Government of Fiji 3. Contribution to the smooth and successful implementation of EU funded programmes 4. Enhanced policy dialogue and support provided to address issues identified in the sectors supported by EU, in particular climate change, public finance management and energy 5. EU public diplomacy activities facilitated 6. On-demand provision of support to the MFSPNDS or to the Climate Change Division of the Office of the Prime Minister.
