Evaluation ex-post de la durabilité de 10 interventions de la Coopération gouvernementale belge

This Ex-post evaluation of the sustainability of 10 interventions of the Belgian Development Cooperation was commissioned by the “Service de l’Evaluation spéciale du Service public fédéral belge Affaires étrangères, Commerce extérieur et Coopération au Développement” from Belgium.

The aims of this evaluations were two-fold :
- A learning objective allowing the CTB and DGD to take lessons from the past in order to adjust the strategy of the future ;
- An accountability objective in order to bring to light the different observations of this evaluation.

This evaluation emphasised on sustainability questions concentrating on interventions completed for a while. These were interventions closed in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
The evaluation, however, did also analysed current projects, as much as possible in the same national sector as the closed ones, in order to take into account the present practices with regard to sustainability.

The evaluation will concentrate on two countries, Benin and Bolivia. In these two countries, the evaluation will care about interventions achieved in the health and agriculture sector.
