Suivi du programme d’appui à la construction de l’appareil de l’Etat - Follow-up of the Programme in support of the construction of the State apparatus

A financing agreement for the Programme in support of the construction of the State apparatus in CAR (SBC 2017-2019) was signed on 13 July 2017 between the Central African Republic and the European Commission. The SBC 2017-2019 consists of untargeted general budget support and additional support to support the rehabilitation and modernization of public financial management systems. The main objective of the specific project was to monitor the 2017-2019 SBC to allow for its optimal progress by assisting program stakeholders in their efforts and tasks of dialogue, reporting and record-keeping, and analyses. More concretely, it involved: (i) contributing to the quality of the dialogue required between the national authorities and the European Union; (ii) ensure the satisfaction of the necessary reports and the quality of the disbursement files submitted by the national authorities; and (iii) assist national authorities and the Delegation of the European Union in their analyses.
