Final Evaluation for EU-Philippines Trade Related Technical Assistance 2
The Trade Related Technical Assistance Project 2 (TRTA 2) is a development cooperation initiative by and between the Republic of the Philippines (RP) and the Commission of the European Union (EU). The overall objective is to “support sustainable poverty reduction in the Philippines through further integration into the international trade system”. It has four components:
1. Capacity building for trade policy and export development
2. Standard harmonization and Sanitary and Phytosanitary conformity
3. Trade Facilitation
4. Rapid response facility
The final evaluation had in this context to highlight the results achieved and those that were not achieved as originally planned and had to provide explanations why. It had also to provide recommendations for prioritization for TRTA 3.
