Approximation of practices related to state-aid granting and reducing corruption risk

Global objective To improve effectiveness of the competition protection measures, and to reduce corruption risks in the sphere of state aid regulation through assistance to the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation (FAS Russia). Specific objectives 1 Review of EU’s best practices in granting state aid (preferences) to economic agents with the aim to improve the Russian antimonopoly authority's state aid control policy. 2 Promotion of reasonable application of legislative rules, and improving the procedure of the state aid (preferences) granting to economic agents with consideration of the newly adopted legislation. 3 Improvement of the Federal Antimonopoly Service's (FAS Russia's) administrative system in respect of reduction of corruption risks in the internal activities and in FAS Russia's regulation sphere, with the example of the performance of its state aid control functions.
