Service Tender and Call for Proposals preparation

The EU Country Strategy paper for Mozambique includes funds for support to the further development of Public financial management in Mozambique. To this end, an EU Sector Policy Support Programme for PFM is currently under approval. The overall objective of the proposed programme is to support the country in strengthening the Public Financial management throughout Government, in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency in revenue collection, in planning and execution of policies and budget, as well as to increase transparency and accountability. In particular, the Programme will support Mozambique in achieving the strategic objectives stated in the Government’s Public Financial management Vision Document 2010-2015, which are : • Strengthening the PFM and Revenue Collection capacity and systems of the Government of Mozambique • Strengthening the capacity and functioning of the External Audit Function • Supporting the PFM policy development capacity of the Government of Mozambique The global objective of the study was to contribute to the successful kick-off and implementation of the proposed 10th EDF Sector Policy Support Programme for PFM Reform in Mozambique
